Catalog Full Description

This program prepares students to be successful in todays highly competitive world of aviation composite technologies. Supported by a solid background in composite theory, students will apply their knowledge in a state of the art composite laboratory at the National Center for Aviation Training. A well-rounded curriculum allows students hands-on experience in all the stages of the aircrafts life from design to production and repair. Coursework in the program includes CATIA, composite fabrication, composite repair and lean manufacturing. Students will complete their educational experience with general education courses in five areas of study including English, Communications, Humanities, Mathematics, and Social Sciences.
